This is a hands on all-age workshop where we talk about the importance of bees in our gardens and food production.
We will spend time getting a bit muddy making seed bombs, finding out about bee baths and what flowers and plants attract bees. We'll be talking all things bees - native bees, honey bees, brood comb, honey comb, top bar and langstroth hives.
We will learn how to identify drones, juveniles, foragers and the queen bee and have a taste test.
You will come away from the workshop ready to get out into the garden and create biodiversity corridors in your local area.
All materials supplied.
