At The Fox Guild - Nature Play the OT way our goals are to inspire a passion for free play in nature and to provide fun and social groups for children and their families.
Our programs are developed by an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about using nature as a therapeutic tool to help children develop the skills necessary for participating in daily life activities. How can playing in mud help a child hold a pencil? Come along and find out!
Family Bush Club is a rain or shine outdoor event. The group is suitable for all ages. All Fox Guild events are parents stay and play. We advocate for family time in nature to be a great time to 'disconnect and reconnect'!
Getting outside and participating in a group activity has huge benefits, not only for children, but for grown-ups too! Bring a coffee, bring grandparents and enjoy a great social opportunity whilst soaking in some great 'Vitamin N'.
We will meet at Lower Picnic Ground Area at the You Yangs. This area has toilet facilities and gas BBQs nearby.
The session will run from 10am-11.30am.
There are two sessions:
1. Thursday 17 January 2019
2. Wednesday 23 January 2019
The session cost is $15 per family, which includes all children.
Bring snacks and clothes that are ok getting muddy and messy!
We look forward to seeing you there!
